Growing up in Chihuahua, Mexico, Yuli moved to the United States to attend middle school and learn English for the first time. With a rebellious attitude and relentless spirit, Yuli was never meant to follow anyone else’s definition of success. At CMU, she found her identity, her family, and her path forward. All on her own terms.

Filmmaking unlocked more than just creativity for Herry Garcia. In telling stories, he also found trauma and challenges to his mental wellbeing. By embracing those challenges, and being open to getting help, Herry found more than just health, he unlocked the power to help others.

For most of his life, Andy’s biggest challenges were in the arena of sports. Football, basketball, skateboarding and rugby were the stages upon which these battles would play out. Until he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and cancer. Follow his journey back to health, school and hopefully one day, the rugby pitch.
